I had sex last night and this morning I took an ovulation test and it came out positive, could I be pregnant?

I took it only 7-8 hours after I had intercourse.

Ovulation test and pregnancy test are different. If Ovulation test is positive it means your egg is ready to be fertilized by the sperm. Once your egg is fertilized it takes at least 2 weeks to confirm pregnancy. Only then you should do pregnancy test. You can keep having sex during your ovulation period if you are trying to conceive.
