Children, opposite, room, sharing

Opposite sex children sharing a room?

As you might already know (if you know me) I have a 3 1/2 year old son who will turn 4 when my baby daughter is born. I am a single mom (again) because my recent marriage didn't work out. Does anyone know if my soon to be ex can raise any kind of stink about my baby girl sharing a room with my son?

I plan to keep her in her crib in my room until she sleeps through the night, at least. I also do not plan on this arrangement lasting for the rest of their lives but I do have a big 2 bedroom apartment that I love and I really don't want to move for the next, say, 2, 3 or even 4 years if I can help it. Are there any laws/rules about opposite sex children/toddlers sharing a bedroom or any problems that might cause with custody? I live in NC.
After digging around for quite a while I found this http://www.rosen.com/forum/topic.asp?topic_id=5624
which an attorney in NC states there are no laws about children sharing bedrooms. Whew.

At those ages, it shouldn't be a problem sharing rooms. You can call social services for specific guidelines. But you should be fine.
